I usually take Monday off but today, I was supposed to have a lesson. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication between myself and the mothers. Therefore, I was stood-up (but I had so much things to do so it turned out to be just perfect).
Whenever I'm mumbling, I'm trying to think and come up with what would be the best way for Japanese to learn English, especially the pronunciation!!!
How??? To begin with least cost, I would strongly urge one to watch TV/DVD in English (but with English subtitles and no Japanese). And at the same time, if one doesn't understand the meaning or the phrase, go back and use dictionary (there's no easy way out).
40 years ago, I did not have a VCR, thus, I kept playing, playing, and playing the same cartoons over and over, just like riding a bike. You fall down number of times but at the end, you're riding the bike without noticing it. Well, it worked for me and it was cost effective, too.
